Greetings,
currently I'm performing the transition from Cygwin to Kubuntu, and I'm
asking myself whether or not I should at the same time also move from
XEmacs to SXEmacs, because XEmacs seems no longer to be actively sup-
ported.
On the SXEmacs website I have found the URL of the Git source repository
but I have not found any installation instructions. Is installation
trivial?
What about the various packages? Under XEmacs I needed at least three I
was aware of: "dired", Mule support, and "vm". But I might as well have
used several others without knowing. Are these packages available for
SXEmacs, too? Where?
Sincerely,
Rainer
